The tactic used is to have a friend with a carrier or jump freighter on standby to ferry more Rifters into the target system, and continually slam your space ego into the enemy with no regard to the losses, until either your entire alliance's Rifter cache has been depleted or all the enemies are dead. If all of the enemies die before you run out of Rifters, you then proceed to look for more enemies in some other system. This process is repeated until all Rifters have been depleted from the cache, and then everyone self-destructs their capsules to return home and begin building, assembling and fitting more Rifters. |

I should point out that the Carrier or Jump Freighter in question is a non-combatant and will at no time assign fighters to any of the Rifters, and in fact he doesn't even have the Fighters skill trained because he is a stupid butt who does not know how to push buttons in this video game. Moreover it is important to recognize the significance of the Leadership V skill on at least one of the Rifter pilots, since there is a position in the fleet hierarchy called 'Squad Commander' which allows all subordinate Rifters to receive minor bonuses to agility and other useful attributes essential for long-term health and happiness of Rifter-class frigates. Ideally one or more RIfters will fit a Cynosural Field Generator, so that in the event of major losses or relocation of the fleet it is possible to quickly and efficiently move the Carrier or Jump Freighter into position to deposit more Rifters onto the battlefield or staging site.
Perhaps the best possible thing you could do is light your Cyno right on top of the enemy gang while assuring your buddy that you're actually lighting it on a station and that he has nothing to worry about; this would lead to your enemy not targeting the Rifters, which comprise the backbone of your fleet doctrine, and instead they will focus on that useless capital ship and then crow about their Kill/Death Ratio or ISK War whatever while completely failing to notice that your eight surviving Rifters were able to kill at least two of their ships while they were busy shooting that useless space brick. |

At the request of my squad leader I have taken my excellent and informative posting abilities away from Goonfleet dot com and instead have brought them to the masses here on the EVE Online forums where they may be better appreciated. |

To be a bit more serious and provide some forum content that more of you would consider "relevant," I will go ahead and post something about Hurricanes and Scimitars. This is not a new and exciting thing, but it has not been mentioned yet in this thread so I will go ahead and post it.
7x Hurricane 3x Scimitar
Hurricanes are fit according to the "Welpfleet Doctrine," which uses AutoCannons, a small Shield tank, and low-power slots devoted to Gyrostabilizers and Tracking Enhancers; scimitars are fit to repair shields. |

Im going to go ahead and award you 100 internets for that one! It is how eVe should be played by everyone, now theres a warm n fuzzy thought . Ever thought of releasing a "The book of Lyris Narirn"? Hello friend and thank you for noticing my excellent and informative post which I made on the forums dot EVE online dot com message board in which I detailed the use of a small fleet of Rifters to bring comedy entertainment and fun to everyone involved most especially the persons doing the shooting but also those being shot by the Rifters that are doing the shooting it is my sincere hope that you will learn a valuable thing or two from my post and be able to go forth like a space disciple of the Book of Lyris of Latter Day Nairn and tell all of your friends behold my brethren I have been to the mountaintop and I have seen the promised land I have a dream that one day my space guild and my space friends will be judged not by the content of our wallets and the scarcity of our moon materials but by the quantity of our Rifters and so He set him forth unto the people and unto the people he journeyed as a nomad and vagabond preaching the insane ramblings of the Lord whoso set him forth but beware my friend for the path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men but blessed is he who in the name of charity and goodwill shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children and I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers and you will know my name is Sky Captain Lyris Nairn in the World of Tomorrow's Goonfleet dot com when I lay my vengeance upon thee and deliver an unprecedented headshot against the Dread Pirate Morgan Stanley Dean Witter Spiced Rum. |
